Dining tables take more daily stress than almost any other piece of furniture — sitting, leaning, the occasional heavy dish set down without much care — so the joinery here is treated as structural, not decorative.

The Chairs

Each chair carries the crown motif into its backrest, carved by hand to match the table’s detailing. Seats are padded with high-density foam and upholstered in fabric or leather, chosen to complement the wood finish rather than compete with the carving.

Finish

A rich wood stain deepens the grain and gives the crown carving definition, so the detail remains visible and sharp rather than fading into a flat, uniform surface.
