The Wood

Everything starts with solid, properly seasoned timber. It’s selected specifically for dining furniture, where a table has to resist warping, scratching, and years of plates, cups, and elbows — not just look good in a showroom photo.

The Carving

Hand carving runs along the table legs, apron, and chair frames, giving the set a textured, detailed character that machine-cut furniture doesn’t have. Each piece is carved individually by our craftsmen, which means the detailing has genuine depth and the kind of small variation that comes with real handwork rather than a repeated stamp.

Table Construction

The base is jointed at every load-bearing point rather than relying on glue alone, so the table stays stable under daily use. This matters more on a dining table than almost any other piece of furniture in the house, given how much direct weight and movement it takes.

The Chairs

Chairs share the same carved detailing as the table, with solid wood frames and padded seats for actual comfort during long meals. They’re built to match the table’s proportions, not sold as a generic add-on.

Finish

A classic wood stain is applied to bring out the natural grain and deepen the visual impact of the carving, with a finish that resists everyday scuffs and spills better than a raw or unfinished surface.
